How do I set the default team for an API key?

Manage it in Friendli Suite → Settings. To change the default team for your API key, find the team you want to use in the team list. Click the ⋯ menu on the left side of that team’s row, then select Make default team.

Your key's default team determines the tier and rate limits of your API requests as well as which team's resources (endpoints and more) you can reach, so point it at the team where your endpoints and credits live.
